 Watercolour Artist

As a practising watercolor painter, I have had the opportunity to attend many watercolour workshops with renowned artists I admire, both locally and internationally.  I have travelled to many locations in Canada and the United States,  several times a year and have been fortunate to visit various countries in Europe for the past nine years with​ ​other like minded artists.  I enjoy painting both "plein air" and in the studio, sharing ideas, inspiring each other and learning how to improve and grow as an artist.  I welcome the challenge of learning different techniques, dealing with a variety of subject matter, and what works for me.   I have taught several  watercolour workshops locally and look forward to sharing sketching tips when painting in plein-aire, and watercolour  techniques I have found that work for me.

Experiencing the food, music, art, and history of the countries I visit, gives me a much wider appreciation of the beauty and differences we all have to offer.  Painting, creating, sharing, travelling, meeting new friends and old, is the ultimate experience I have always dreamed about and  work toward - and now can do!

I hope you enjoy this small sampling of my work as much as I enjoyed painting them.
