This painting was done from a photo I took while visiting the home of Salvadore Dali at Cadequez, a town on the south east coast of Spain not too far from the coastal town of Roses.
The
painting is done on Arches 140# paper. Framed size is 18 x 21 1/2 ".

It was fun to explore the home he lived in in Cadaques. It is now a museum - chock full of whatever took his fancy, from stuffed birds,
egg sculpture on a roof top and sculpture made of scrap metal in his yard!! Fun stuff!

While on a painting trip to Greece, in 2013, we stayed at a beautiful resort near Molivos, called the Delphinia Hotel. While there we visited several places to paint "plain aire" . This little port was called Skala Sikaminia. Below are some of the photos from this area of Lesvos.
